Job summary:
Overall operational responsibility for Executive Travel Outlets and provision of travel services (airline reservations and ticketing, hotel/car rental reservations, voucher issuance and meet and assist services), with a combined gross value of $30 Million annually.

10 years travel industry experience including a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing a multi-outlet travel organization and a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling senior executives with a turnover of between $15mm and $25mm annually.
A 2 years’ experience of the Middle East travel industry and experience of the leisure and airline sectors would be an advantage.
Some previous experience of negotiating with airline, hotel and car hire principles would be added advantage.
Incumbent must be PC and internet literate (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and must possess a valid driving license
Incumbent must be extremely energetic, self-motivated with excellent communications skills and the ability to work effectively with, and manage, a multinational/multicultural workforce. The ability to be able to communicate effectively and a Customer Service driven work ethic are essential.

Job Description

  • Supervises and directs the activities of Executive Travel Operations performing all normal managerial functions.
  • Maintains the highest possible standard of service delivery by constant performance management audits and setting up of KPI for team members. Staff development plan through constant counseling, coaching and trainings if & wherever required.
  • .Supervises and controls the preparation and ensures the veracity of, reports required by International Air Transport Association (IATA), presidency of Civil Aviation (PCA), Commercial Airlines, hotel chains, car rental companies and other travel services providers.
  • Performs frequent data quality audits, initiating procedural changes where necessary.
  • Monitors service standards provided to users, investigates and resolves claims and complaints.
  • Monitors travel activities to ensure the provision of the most cost-effective services in accordance with COMPANY travel policy, and reports deviations from policy together with the additional costs incurred.
  • Coordinates the production and distribution of IATA and discount air fare data for use by Personnel (repatriation/vacation/emergency travel allowances), Contracting and CRCCD (cost-reimbursable travel allowances).
  • Principal internal contacts: President and CEO, Senior VP, VP.
  • Principal external contacts: Management representatives of commercial airlines, hotel chains car rental companies and other TRS services providers.

English Language Teachers – Saudi Arabia - Ref: K0109

Our Client is a major Saudi Arabian oil and gas company, now seeking qualified teachers to teach English to young Saudi adults (High school level) and upgrade the level of English of their current employees. Teaching at one or other jobs of their 2 well-established company training centres in Saudi Arabia.

Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be in London, at the end of January 2017 (including Saturday and Sunday). Candidates should be available to attend interview at reasonably short notice. Chosen candidates could expect to receive a verbal offer prior to leaving.

Start date will be approximately 3 months from date of formal job acceptance; working 40 work hours per week (20 - 25 contact hours); with excellent teaching facilities.

Applicants must be UK born native English speakers; with a BA in either English, Applied Linguistics or Modern languages, and accredited teaching certificates in CELTA, DELTA, TESOL or recognised professional equivalent.

Experience comprising not less of than 4 years full time teaching of English, TEFL or TESL is expected. Together with a high level of computer skills and proficiency, preferably in using smartboard or active board. Ideally with Middle East experience.

Financial package comprising of an envisaged salary in the range £60K to £100K per annum, according to experience plus additional financial benefits well in excess of 55 % of basic salary; with no tax deduction at source and paid overtime. Additionally medical cover; return flights to home country 2 times per year; travel allowance; 6 weeks’ vacation & national holidays.
